Information for patients who have seen Dr David van der Straaten at Cheltenham Eye Centre.

Dr van der Straaten left Cheltenham Eye Centre (7 Chesterville Rd, Cheltenham) to commence practice at a new location:  Aspect Eye Surgeons   - 225 Charman Road, Cheltenham 3192.

He continues to perform private eye surgery at Holmesglen and Cabrini Brighton Hospitals, and works as the Head of Unit of Ophthalmology at the Alfred Hospital.

If you have previously seen Dr van der Straaten at Cheltenham Eye Centre and wish to continue with the same doctor then Aspect Eye Surgeons  can assist in transfer of your file or a summary of your notes. Medical practices are required to hold medical records for 7 years for adult patients and up to age 25 years for children under the Health Records Act 2001. Of course can choose to see any doctor about your eyes.
